Read Time:33 Second

On my typical trail run this 19 Jul 2013 at 8:30 PST, when I came across this freshly killed carcass . The weather has been clear with no rain or wind to distort any tracks or wash away blood. The blood in the carcass is fresh. The animal is lodged on the lower strand of barbwire and not below it. There is no blood anywhere in the vicinity, as well as no drag marks. I have heard speculation from mountain lions, to coyotes, to bloat out.. I would be curious to what this is since it is near a populated area, and authorities are totally useless.

Thank You,

Ralph Turchiano
