🔬 WHAT THE STUDY FOUND

72 older adults (ages 60–85) with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) were split into three groups
for 180 days:
• Group 1: Kluyveromyces fragilis yeast extract (RiboDIET®)
• Group 2: Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast extract (RiboMIX SC)
• Group 3: Placebo

On the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA, scored out of 30):
✅ K. fragilis group: +4.42 points (crossed into normal cognition range)
✅ S. cerevisiae group: +3.92 points (crossed into normal cognition range)
❌ Placebo group: +0.58 points (no significant change)

On the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE):
✅ K. fragilis group: +1.62 points
✅ S. cerevisiae group: +3.11 points
❌ Placebo group: +0.25 points

Mental quality of life (SF-12 Mental Component Score):
✅ K. fragilis: +7.50 points
✅ S. cerevisiae: +9.16 points
❌ Placebo: no significant change

No adverse events were reported in either supplement group.

⚠️ IMPORTANT CAVEATS

This is a single-center, 72-person pilot trial. The results are encouraging but NOT yet definitive
clinical evidence. Larger multicenter trials are needed before firm recommendations can be made.

🧬 WHY NUCLEOTIDES?

Nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and RNA. When derived from yeast, they appear to:
• Support brain membrane phospholipid synthesis
• Promote synaptogenesis (new synaptic connections)
• Reduce neuroinflammation
• Positively influence the gut-brain axis

I have a strong affinity for the sciences which led me to create my sites. My compulsion for the past decade has been reviewing literally every peer-reviewed research article. Which can easily be validated by following my posts. To me, science is where the real news is, as it will mold our destiny beyond that of politics or economics. ;-)
