A group of Somali men are believed to be demanding $100,000 for a video which allegedly shows the mayor of Toronto smoking crack cocaine.
The Toronto Star claims two of its reporters have seen the video which they say shows mayor Rob Ford in a room, sitting in a chair inhaling from what appears to be a glass crack pipe.
According to reports, Ford is incoherent and discusses topics including the Liberal leader Justin Trudeau and the Don Bosco High School football team which he coaches.

U.S. based website Gawker first brought the alleged video to the world’s attention on Thursday.
But a man claiming to be Ford’s lawyer, Dennis Morris, has posted underneath the story which says it is ‘false and defamatory’.

It says: ‘Mayor Ford denies such took place,and if such posting occurs, it is false and defamatory, and you will be held legally accountable.’
‘In reference to the photo, Mayor Ford has his photo taken daily, sometimes with others.’
Both publications say they were approached by a man with the video who wanted a six-figure sum in exchange for the footage.

Even though they say money was not exchanged, they met with a tipster who let them view the alleged video on a phone.
A screen grab was taken which shows Ford with two men. One is believed to be a fatal gunshot victim called Anthony Smith.
It is not known when exactly the alleged footage was made.
The MailOnline has contacted Rob Ford’s office and are awaiting a comment.
